Prof. Dr. Norikazu Nishiyama, is a Professor at the Division of Chemical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University, where he also completed his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. His research focuses on chemical reaction engineering, separation engineering, and the design of porous materials, particularly in the synthesis of zeolites, inorganic membranes, and nanoporous carbons for applications in catalysis, separations, and energy storage.
Prof. Nishiyama has made outstanding contributions to the field through his extensive publication record and has received multiple prestigious awards, including the Young Scientist Award from both the Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan (2003) and the Membrane Society of Japan (2006), the Paper Award from the Japanese Liquid Crystal Society (2017), and the Award for Outstanding Research Achievement from the Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan (2021).
