Globalization today results in very competitive atmosphere in all aspects. This flourishing competition should consider the harmony and balance between human needs and the environment quality for creating favorable sustainable future. Taking part actively in that role, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia proudly announces its 14th International Conference on Quality in Research (QiR) 2015. The main theme for this year conference is “Green and Smart Technology for Sustainable Future”. Under this theme the conference focuses on the innovative contributions in green and smart technology to encourage and motivate current and future development for achieving sustainable future. In line with this theme, it is our utmost pleasure to hold the QiR 2015 in conjunction with The 4th Asian Symposium on Material Processing (ASMP), Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB) and International Conference in Saving Energy in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (ICSERA).
The QiR 2015 will bring together national and international academicians, researchers, executives, government, industrial and business officials, practitioners and leaders to present and discuss a vast range of engineering, architectural designs and community development based on green and smart technology. Ayam Taliwang is a spicy Indonesian ayam bakar (grilled chicken) dish from Lombok. Ayam Taliwang is made with chicken (preferably free range), which is cut and cleaned prior to grilling. Once it has been grilled halfway, it is removed from the grill and tenderized with a pestle. It is then dipped in cooking oil; after several seconds in the oil, it is put in a spicy sauce of garlic, chili, and shrimp paste. It is then fried or grilled to order.
Ayam Taliwang and Plecing Kangkung is traditional food from Lombok. Plecing kangkung is a spicy water spinach dish made from Lombok island, Indonesia.
